Prospera is involved in all aspects of project development, with our in-house experts in finance, engineering, architecture and construction working together from a project’s inception through its completion to ensure a high-quality end product. Our capabilities encompass the complete development and design process for both new construction projects as well as major renovations and repositionings. Our most recent new construction project was the 252 all-suite Doubletree Guest Suites Anaheim Resort, which opened in March 2006. Prospera remains keenly focused on development, with over $275M of hospitality assets currently in our development pipeline.

| James Julson, Vice President of Development |

James Julson joined Prospera Hotels in 2004. He draws from over 30 years of experience in the construction and development business and has spent the last fifteen years working exclusively in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Prospera Hotels, Mr. Julson worked at Howard S. Wright Construction Company, where he oversaw the strategic expansion of their Hospitality Division into the Southern California market. Prior to Howard S. Wright, Mr. Julson was a Project Executive at R.D. Olson Construction where he managed the development of multiple hotels and was responsible for completing them on time and on budget. Throughout his career, Mr. Julson has been involved in the development of various hospitality assets, including products from Hilton, Hyatt, Intercontinental, Marriott and Starwood.

Charles Terry joined Prospera Hotels in 2003, and has been associated with the organization since 1997. In his role as VP of Architectural Design, Mr. Terry is an integral part of Prospera’s development team that oversees site analysis and procurement, feasibility studies, hotel programming, cost containment and value engineering, green building technology and architectural and systems design and oversight.
With over 40 years experience as a registered architect and over 30 years of experience as a registered professional engineer, Mr. Terry brings a wealth of knowledge in hotel architecture and design. Past experience includes the design of Hilton, Hyatt and Doubletree properties, as well as designing high-rise condominium towers, office towers, restaurants, retail, shopping centers, fitness centers and parking structures. He is licensed in several states and his experience extends internationally to projects in France, Saudi Arabia, China and Mexico.
Mr. Terry received a degree in Architecture and Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1963.
